jquery.wikidot-api demo/examples

Let's start

You need to load jquery and jquery.wikidot-api scripts:

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://jquery-wikidot-api.wdfiles.com/local--code/code:jquery-wikidot-api"></script>

And you can now construct the proxy object:

w = $.wikidot('wikidot-api-demo', 'your-api-key-here');

On the returned object, you can call API methods:

w.select.categories({'site': 'blog'});

Return values are passed to callback function, you should pass as a parameter:

w.select.categories({'site': 'blog', function(data) {
    alert(data);
}});

Demo

This demo uses cookies (and jquery.cookie plugin) to store your API key between page loads (also browser can cache the password for the time of the session), view source to learn how it works.
